The Speech Path is Middle Georgia's premier location of service for the entire family's therapy needs.  We are proud to have a dynamic group of Physical Therapists and Speech Language Pathologists that are specialized in pediatric, adult, and geriatric services. Our therapists have unique skills and training in their area of interest and we are able to place our patients with the most qualified therapist according to their needs.

Pediatric Services
 
  • Motor development - orthopedic and neurologic disorders
  •  Language (Receptive and Expressive) and speech disorders/delays
  • Voice secondary to abuse, allergies, secondhand smoke, etc.
  • Oral motor due to weakness, congenital abnormalities such as Cleft Palate, sensory issues, etc.
  • Swallowing/Feeding due to weakness, anatomical abnormalities, sensory issues
  • Fluency
  • Auditory comprehension
  • Accent reduction
  • Pre and post-cochlear implant therapy

Adult Services
 
  • Articulation or Dysarthria from CVA’s or other progressive neurological diseases (Parkinson’s, MS, ALS, Swallowing)
  • Cognitive therapy for TBI, stroke, brain resection
  • Augmentative communication (communication boards or devices to provide functional communication)
  • Language – expressive or receptive (Aphasia therapy, traumatic brain injury, progressive neurological)
  • Swallowing/Dysphagia (MBSS, FEES, Traditional)
  • Oral Motor
  • Voice (abuses, misuses, and anatomical/structural abnormalities)
  • Laryngectomy (TEP, alaryngeal devices)
  • Tracheostomy (Passy Muir Speaking Valves)
