The Speech Path Scope of Services
We have a great team of over 20 Speech-Language Pathologists that are fully qualified and specialized to service the needs of infants through geriatrics in all of middle Georgia.  We are your premier destination for therapy services!

Speech-Language pathologist work with individuals who may have cognitive-communication disorders, aphasia, dysarthria, swallowing difficulties, and voice disorders due to illness, injury, or changes associated with aging. At The Speech Path, LLC, we assess an individual's ability to communicate in the areas of speaking, understanding, reading, and writing. We may also assess cognition including memory, orientation, safety, judgement, problem solving, and reasoning with every day activities. We also assess persons with swallowing difficulties or dsyphagia. Dysphagia may be caused by a stroke, head injury, a progressive neurological disease, a severe or long term illness, head and neck cancer, and abuse, misuse, paralysis, and disease of the vocal cords.  Speech-language treatment is directed at helping the person communicate and function as safely and independently as possible when carrying out his/her daily tasks.

Is your child difficult to understand? Do you need help learning where your child falls within expected developmental milestones? Does he or she have a hoarse or raspy voice? Does he or she stutter? Does your child have difficulty with eating?

If you have answered “Yes” to any of these questions, we are here to help you! We service children with those delays or disorders that can affect speech, language, voice, fluency, and dysphagia (feeding).

As Speech-Language Pathologists certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and licensed by the State of Georgia, we identify, evaluate, and treat children with communication disorders. We welcome the opportunity to work with your family.

If you suspect that your child has a communication disorder and would benefit from an evaluation, please consider contacting The Speech Path, LLC.
